Christmas was so great this year. I loved having it on Sunday. We went to church with our parents in Bunkerville and the meeting was so awesome. The spirit was so strong I was crying like a baby. I always love this time of year and the great feeling that focusing on the true meaning of Christmas brings!

We spent Christmas Eve at the ranch this year. It was a little different because we were the only ones there. But it still was fun. We had yummy super nachos and treats, told some the Christmas story, then the kids got to open there presents from friend and their Christmas jammies and then we headed to the Schaefermeyer's to sleep.

Little Laila was blessed on December 3rd. She looked so pretty in her blessing dress and Richard gave her the most beautiful blessing. It was such a good day to spend with our family and friends we are so blessed to have Laila in our lifes she is such a good baby!

FHE

For FHE on Monday we decided to take the kids to Santa and also see the lights and Nativity at the temple. Both Kaden and Maddie were excited to see Santa and tell him what they wanted for Christmas until it was are turn and then as usual Maddie freaked out and wouldn't go. Richard did manage to snap a silly picture from the side lines.
The temple was so awesome. I love going and seeing the temple during the holidays, the lights just add to the beauty of it. And I love the little nativity presentation that they do. It really helps bring in the spirit and reminds us of the true meaning of Christmas. The kids loved it. They didn't want to leave!

Little Laila is 3 weeks old and we can't imagine life without her. (Well maybe the sleeping part ;) Really though she has been such a good baby. She LOVES to eat so I feel like I spend my life in the rocking chair and the house is in shambles but, the good new is that I get to cuddle the cutest baby girl ever. Kaden and Maddie still can't get enough of her and of coarse she has her Daddy wrapped around her little finger.

Sweet little Laila was born on Wednesday afternoon. We got situated at the hospital at around 8:30am and she was born at 3:20pm so things went pretty smoothly. She weighed 7lbs and was 19 inches long my smallest baby by 2lbs. I was really surprised when they told me what she weighed. She already seems to be a really good baby and is getting LOTS of love from her older siblings. It is not only a blessing but so fun having a new baby in our home, she is SO sweet!

Labor Day Weekend

For Labor Day weekend we went to Nay's Ranch for the "Little" Bundy Reunion. Richards parents offered to let us take their trailer and who could say not to that. It was really nice to have a bathroom and shower! The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins. It was kind of a small year but we still had fun. On Sunday we even had a baptism and blessing. It was so nice to be in the mountains and feel the spirit. We really missed everyone that didn't come this year!

Kaden started preschool a couple of weeks ago and LOVES it. Last year he didn't really like it, I think he was just too young but this year he can't wait to go. My little boy is getting so big!

Last weekend Richard and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. For my birthday he had gotten me a massage at the Casablanca and so we decided to make a little mini vacation and stay there. We dropped of the kids Friday night and headed to relax at the pool then went to dinner and movie. Saturday after my massage (which was AWESOME) we went and got the kids because we knew they would love swimming too. We had such a fun weekend just relaxing and hanging out. Happy Anniversary Babe! Bundy Reunion!!

We had so much fun at the reunion this year. I was a little worried on how I was going to handle the heat this year but it didn't seem to bother me more than usual. Kaden had been sick all week he was running high fevers, had a runny nose and a sore throat and ears ( poor buddy) he also hadn't eaten in a week and so on Thursday night Richard gave him a blessing and things started to get better shortly after. Maddie loved playing with all the little girl cousins and Kaden had a blast trying to climb every tree... It was a great weekend and we already can't wait until next year.

Memorial Day weekend...a little late!

For Memorial Day weekend we went to Phoenix to Visit Ammon and Lisa and meet sweet baby Emrie. We had so much fun and as usual Ammon and Lisa were the best hosts ever! We swam, ate some way delicious food, played baseball and just had a good time. The kids had so much fun playing together. We were so glad that we got to go visit. I was a Huge slacker on taking pictures, so sorry!

Easter Weekend

Easter weekend was so much fun this year. Richards family came for a visit. We spent all day Saturday at the river we rode 4-wheelers, swam a little and roasted hot dogs, then had a little easter egg hunt for the kids. Everyone had a blast. The weather was great and the company was good!

Clark County Fair

Every year I look forward to going to the fair and this year was no different. Richard took Thursday off and we headed out first thing in the morning. The carnival didn't open until 1:00 so we spent that time in the barn checking out the animals and all the fun exhibits. The wind was blowing really hard like 5o miles per hour so we were glad to get out of it for a while. I was worried that the kids would be able to enjoy themselves on the rides but as you can tell by the grins on their faces the had plenty of fun. The only thing that really upset them is that they could ride all the rides. Kaden wanted to go on all the scary ones (he doesn't get that from me). Both of the kids said their favorite ride was the ferris wheel. Besides the awful weather we had tons of fun and can't wait until next year.

So lets just say that when it comes to blogging lately I have been a huge slacker!!! But I do however have an excuse...I have been so sick. I know what your thinking so let me explain before everyone jumps to conclusions... I had the worst chest cold, sore throat, runny nose and whatever else comes with a cold ever. I don't remember being that sick in a long time and to top it off...yes, you guessed it I have a bad case of morning sickness. So surprise were PREGNANT!!! Right now I am just over 13 weeks and hoping that I feel better soon. I can't believe that we will have 3 kids but we are super excited to have another baby.

Last week spend a lot of time at the pool swimming. My Aunt Cindy and Grandma Turner came down for their yearly spring break trip. The weather was so nice so we had to take advantage and of coarse the kids didn't protest. I had a hard time convincing them to leave when it was time to go they had a blast the entire time and it was so good to see Grandma and the cousins!

Kadens Birthday

Kaden turned 4 this year!! He was so excited, we counted down for weeks to get to his birthday. He wanted to have pizza at the park and a cars cake. He wasn't disappointed...Katie and Hanna were both down visiting and so some of the cousins got to come to his party. He was so excited about all his presents but his favorite was definitely the scooter. Happy Birthday Kaden! We love you!!

This past couple of weeks have been really busy!!! I got called to young womens, Molly and the girls came for 10 days and we went to Tooele for a baby blessing. Molly came on Monday the kids were so excited to see each other it was way cold for a couple of days so we hung out indoors and went to McDonalds to many times ;). We even got to have a girls night and went to dinner at Olive Garden. Once the weather got warmer the kids had a ball playing while we visited inside. I am so glad that Molly got to come visit. I miss her so much so it is nice when we get to spend time together. Over the weekend Melanie and Dave blessed their new baby Adriana. We went up Friday night and came home Sunday evening. As usual the kids were really excited about the snow and the kids played good together. Maddie loved taking turns holding the baby.We all had so much fun but are sure glad to be home sleeping in our own beds.

Saturday the weather was so nice and so we couldn't pass up the opportunity to spend it outside. We went to Whitney Pockets for the afternoon and the kids LOVED it. Both Kaden and Maddie had a blast climbing on the rocks. Its times like this that I am so much more grateful to live in such a beautiful world!

My sweet little baby turned 2 yesterday. She was so happy from the time she woke up. We went to Mcdonalds for lunch and then had the family over for cake and ice cream that night. Maddie LOVES princesses and so we had a princess theme she loved every minute of it.

Maddie has really been a blessing in our lives. She makes me laugh everyday. She has the cutest little smile! Having a girl is definitely different than a boy. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to let us know (unfortunately we don't know what it is half of the time). She talks really good, she has for a long time the problem is if we don't hear what she wants in the first or second try she starts crying and then it is almost impossible to figure it out. Can you say DRAMA!! Maddie is still a big time Mommies girl...whenever we go somewhere she is stuck to me like glue. (Not so fun for me!) Lately she has decided that the only thing she wants to eat is breakfast aka cereal, I am not too thrilled about this one. Hopefully it will pass soon. Maddie loves to sing, read books, and play outside with Kaden. She is such a fun little girl. Happy Birthday Little Maddie!! We love you!

New Years weekend

Over new years weekend Melanie and Dave came down to show off their new baby Adriana. She is adorable. Maddie could not get enough of her. On Friday we played games and brought in the new year and then on Saturday we went to check out the snow. Both Kaden and Maddie were excited to see it. We had a great weekend and were so glad that the Wilsons came to visit so that we could see that sweet baby girl.

Thanksgiving Weekend

For Thanksgiving this year we went to see Molly and John in Washington. When we woke up Thursday morning and looked out the window to a winter wonder land. Kaden and Maddie have never really been in the snow so they were both happy! Richard and John helped the kids build a huge snowman (blogger wont let me upload the picture grrrrrrrr). We went sledding and had snowball fights.

On Saturday we decided to take the kids to the Zoo. Kaden and Alice were so excited to see the Hippos and they were not disappointed. Usually the Hippos are not that fun but these ones really put on a show. They got in and out of the water, made funny noises and opened their mouths... It was really entertaining.

After the Hippos Kaden wanted to see the snakes (not what I wanted at all) so Alice asked for the map so she could help Kaden find the snakes. Too cute!!

And whats a trip to the Zoo without a ride on the Carousel?!

That night we went bowling. The kids were loved putting on their bowling shoes and throwing the big balls....

We had so much fun spending time with the Stuarts. Molly and I even went black Friday shopping and got some killer deals. We took the kids to see Tangled and they loved that. The kids had a blast it was an awesome vacation.

Halloween 2010

This year we had a lot of Halloween fun. On Monday for FHE we carved pumpkins. They didn't turn out great but I guess what do you expect when you have to little ones thinking they need to do everything. On Friday the elementary school had a carnival so we took the kids to that. They were kind of small for the games but still enjoyed it somewhat. After the carnival they had a little trunk-or- treat but the kids were pretty tired by then so they were not too enthused about it until we got home and they realized they had candy. On Saturday we headed over to Bunkerville to trunk-or-treat with Papa and Grandma Schaefermeyer. Since it was the second round for Kaden and Maddie they both were pretty excited. They got way to much candy, at the end neither one of them could hold their baskets. (Not a good thing...I don't need it around here) . I do have to say that they were the Cutest little Fireman and Ladybug that I have ever seen!! Halloween was fun!

Lately Maddie has decided that she does not like her crib anymore. Kaden and her share a very small room and so our options have been limited on how to arrange things. We have had a twin on one wall for Kaden, the crib on the other wall and a dresser in between. We tried to have Kaden and Maddie share the twin bed and even had her sleeping on the floor, but that didn't really work out. To make a long story short I started to look for a bunk bed. I was hoping that I could find one for a good deal somewhere because we defiantly don't have the money to by one new. I found one on craigslist that didn't have a very good picture but it came with the mattresses. They wanted $200 which was out of my price range but I decided to call anyway. The man said that it was out of their vacation home and that it really had never been used, He then asked us if we had children and if so that he just wanted to give it to us. WOW!!! Talk about an answer to our prays!! We got it home and set up and just as the man said, it is practically brand new. We are so grateful to them and know that we could not say thank you enough. Kaden and Maddie LOVE their new beds!!

Last week John and Molly came for a Stuart family reunion and we were lucky enough to get to spend some time with them too. Kaden and Alice didn't miss a beat... they gave each other a hug and went right to playing. Everyday we did something fun, we went on a 4-wheeler ride/picnic, hung out at Grannies, went swimming, and just had a fun time.
My dad said,"Kaden has everything a teenage boy would want, a jeep and a cute girl to ride in it with him." They rode clear down to the melon field in it.

This weekend Christopher and Keri came down to say goodbye to Nicholas who leaves on his mission next week. We went 4-wheeling at Whitney pockets. The weather was so nice we even got rained on and had to take cover in one of the little caves we found. Kaden and Maddie both had a blast climbing on the rocks. Later that night we went and tried out the roller skating ring in town. Kaden was so excited to go until we got there and then the noise , lights, and weird shoes with wheels on them freaked him out. Maddie fell asleep on the way there and slept the entire time. It was fun...I have only been 1 or 2 times before so I was a little shaky but I eventually got the hang of it.... at least I didn't fall that is. As always it was so fun to hang with the family.We had a great weekend.

Little Miss Maddie

Last week we decided that it was time to take the bottle away from Maddie. She was waking up way to many times in the night for it and Richard and I were tired of doing that. The first couple of days were awesome. She didn't even really ask for it and She slept through the night for 2 nights in a row. The next day however she got sick. She had a really high fever and the stomach flu and so after 2 days of not eating and then her asking for it I decided that it would be good to get something on her stomach so I gave it to her and she went right to sleep. She is over the flu thank goodness but she does not know how to go to sleep without the comfort of her bottle. I know that was bad thing on my part to let it get to this but now I don't know what to do. She cries practically all night. She doesn't ask for it but she just doesn't know how to go to sleep without it. Last night after she cried for 2 hours straight I decided to just give it to her so that I could get some sleep. With in 5 min of her having it she was sound asleep. HELP!!! I am going crazy. What do I do!! I know she doesn't really need it. But the crying it out thing isn't working I am sleep deprived and just want to give up. What do I do?!

Our trip to Vernal

This past week Richards dear Grandmother passed away. It was almost 15 years to the day that her husband had also passed. I cant help but think about how sweet her reunion with her eternal companion must be right now. We know that she is in a better place.
We left Friday night to head up to Vernal for the funeral. We stayed with Grandma Richards that night and then went the rest of the way on Saturday. We visited with the cousins that were there and basically just lounged all day. Sunday everyone else came for the viewing and then the funeral was held on Monday. The service was so nice and it was fun to get to learn things about Grandma that I didn't know. The kids were really good during the entire thing so it was nice to actually get to listen to the speakers. I was glad that we were able to go and celebrate the life of Grandma Schaefermeyer. We will miss her!

"Little" Bundy Reunion

Every year for the Labor day weekend we go to the "little" Bundy Reunion. As usual we had so much fun. All the cousins loved swimming in the pond and just having a good time being together. Kaden decided that he was going to sleep in his own tent this time and he did... he slept in a little tent all by himself. I was really surprised. Maddie had a good time as long as she was with her Dad (she is a big time Daddy's girl). I was a big time slacker when it came to taking pictures so I only got a few... hope you enjoy.

Today was Kadens first day of pre-school. I was not sure at first whether or not he would want to go but he walked right into the classroom without hardly any hesitation. When I picked him up he told that he had fun and that he was going to go back tomorrow. He brought home a picture that he had drawn and some other papers for me to fill out but he didn't want me or Maddie to touch them. I am so glad that he liked it. It did kind of make me sad to have him going to school. I know... it is only preschool but before I know it he will be in high school.

Temple Night

The other day Richards younger brother went through the temple for the first time. We had Anne come to our house to watch the kids so that we could join him. Last Wednesday Richards brother came home from his mission in Peru. We went to the airport to meet him. Kaden and Maddie were excited to be there until we finally saw him and then they both got really shy. It didn't last long though by the time we got home from Vegas Uncle Weswe was Kadens new best friend. All of Richards family was there for the weekend. We had so much fun swimming and just playing. Thanks Robyn and Kathy for taking care of us all weekend. We had a blast.

Bundy Reunion Fun

This year the Bundy Reunion was lot of fun. The weather was nice and the kids had a blast. We ate tons of watermelon, dirt and good food. Kaden placed third in the races but Maddie was to shy to run. They both loved the dances and of coarse about 15 minutes in, they were both too tired to stay awake any longer. It was so fun to get to see all the family that was there. Can't wait till next year ;)!

For Memorial Day weekend we went with the Grandpa and Grandma Schaefermeyer camping at Warm Springs. Melanie and Dave came down too. We swam in the warm water, rode 4-wheelers, roasted marshmellows and had a great time. The kids played good together it was a fun weekend for everyone.

Last Saturday Katie and I decided to do a little yard selling. We woke up at the crack of dawn and headed out. At first we were only going to a couple but after we got started we had to hit them all...we got SO many good deals. My favorite deal was bead board, I got enough to do my kids bedroom for $10.....seriously a steal. We have priced it out before and it would cost us well over $200(pictures to come). I also got a playhouse for the kids and lots of other fun toys. One lady even gave us two power wheels jeeps that she was just going to junk, WHAT.....I know so awesome right? It was my first time yard selling and it defiantly will not be my last. We had so much fun.

Family Vacation

For a long time Molly and I have been wanting to take our families to Disneyland. This year they are doing the "Give a day, get a day" program. There were lots of different things we could do. Like help at a soup kitchen etc. We chose to make blankets for Haiti. It was easy to do and with "free" tickets, why not go? Richard and I left Saturday and checked into our hotel in Vegas we took the kids swimming and just hung out until John and Molly flew in from Washington that night. The next day all 8 of us crammed into the van and headed for Disneyland. We went to Disneyland on Monday and then on Tuesday we went to California Adventures, Wednesday we made the dreaded trip home. We all had such a good time it just came and went way too fast for everyone.
Days 1 & 2
The wind was blowing so hard it made the pool freezing cold. Maddie's cheeks were purple for hours afterward.

Kaden was already asleep when Alice got there so they had to wait til' morning to see eachother. They were both so happy to be together finally.

DAY 3

When we got to California Adventures we headed straight to Bugs Land for the kids and they all loved it. They got to go on 4 different rides in one hour.

About 3 months ago I started the dreadful potty training with Kaden. We had a big potty party and did all the charts and prizes.For the first 2 weeks he did pretty good. He would go pee almost every time with no accidents but poop was another story he would not go at all. Then we would go somewhere for the day and taking Kaden potty every half hour wasn't top priority so he decided that he was not interested nor did he care about going potty like a big boy at all. We have had a few good days but for the most part he has protested every step of the way. This whole process has been a absolute nightmare. He will even go sometimes for 2-3 days without a bowel movement and then he cries until he goes because his tummy hurts. I don't know what to do....I have tried being so nice when he has so call "accidents" but after 6 wet and 2 poopy pairs of underwear in one day my patience is shot and I turn into a not so nice mom. Advice please I am ready to give up completely. This is by far the hardest thing I have ever done.

This weekend since Easter fell on conference, and we didn't have any Sunday obligations we decided to go camping. We left Friday afternoon and headed out to Nays ranch. We rode 4-wheelers, colored Easter eggs and just really relaxed and had a fun weekend. We listened to conference on the radio and lets just say with two little ones it is way hard to pay attention. But I am grateful for what I did get to hear and learn. It was a great weekend.

The other day I was with my mom in St. George and she wanted to stop at the DI so I didn't protest too much and just headed to the outside toy section. Much to my surprise there was a power wheels jeep setting there for $15....WHAT, the only problem was that it is a Barbie jeep. Kaden however does not mind at all!

Fun weekend in Bunkerville

This past weekend Richards brother and sister came down for a visit. We had such a fun weekend. On Friday we took the four-wheelers and dune buggy and headed out to Whitney pockets. It was fun to just be out enjoying the nice weather. The kids loved the 4-wheeler rides and climbing on the rocks. Kaden of coarse had to bring his pink jeep so that him and Jackson could go on rides by themselves. Saturday we went swimming at the rec center and just hung out. Uncle Christopher couldn't handle the fact that his nephew had a pink jeep so he decided that he was going to paint it. We had such a good time getting to hang out with family that we dont get to see very often. And especially good for the kids to get to know each other better. The weekend defiantly went by way to fast.

Richards birthday was on Thursday and we were lucky enough to get to celebrate it with his family that we don't get to see very often. We went to eat at Los Lupes with the the family that got here in time for dinner and then went back to the house for cake and ice cream with the rest of the family. Richard got a much needed lawn mower and some clothes. It was fun to get to celebrate with everyone. Happy Birthday Richard we LOVE you!

Our sweet little boy turned 3 today. I really can't believe that he is that old. Kaden is such a good boy. He is always willing to help, he tells us constantly that he loves us, he is such a happy boy, he makes us laugh every day and since the time he was little he has had the most adorable smile. A couple of weeks ago we went ice skating with Anne for her birthday. It was Kaden and Maddie's first time and only my second time ( it might as well have been my first) so it was quite an experience. Lets just say I SUCKED. Kaden had a blast though and Maddie was surprisingly content to just ride in the stroller. We had a lot of fun. Thanks Anne for inviting us to your party.

She was way excited when she opened all her presents but especially her doll. After she opened it she didnt want anymore presents.
Maddie was a little dainty with her cake she only ate the frosting and tried to share it with her dad after every taste.

After the party Maddie started to dance around the house and love on everyone. She gave us all quite a show is was too cute.

Maddie turned One on the 19th. We had a little party at the house and both Grandparents came to help celebrate. Maddie got a stroller and baby which she loves!!! Stetsy took pictures with her camera of everything so I am still waited to get pictures of her party to post.

A couple of weeks ago Molly and John decided to come for a visit. And because we couldn't wait to see them, we decided to pick them up from the airport. There flight had a 3hr delay so by the time they got there Kaden and Alice where SO excited to see each other. When they first saw each other they were a little bit shy but that didn't last too long. They held hands all the way to the car and then chatted like adults for most of the ride home. It was so cute to see them happy together.
We took the kids to the Rec center to swim. They all loved it and cried when it was time to go.

By the end of the trip Kaden and Alice were back to their love/hate relationship. It was so fun to spend time with them we defiantly miss them way to much and where so glad that they came to visit.

Look what Santa left!

This year we stayed with Richards' Mom and Dads for Christmas. Christmas eve we played games and had a good time. I don't know if me of the kids were more excited for Christmas morning. We woke up around 6:30 and opened presents then had breakfast and headed out to the ranch to see my family. Kaden played with his train non-stop for 2 days and Maddie loved everything. It was a wonderful holiday season that once again came and went way to fast.

Decorating this year has been lots of fun because Kaden is old enough to get excited about the holidays on the other hand we have a little tree un-decorator named Maddie. She does it so innocently too... she reaches out and grabs an ornament and is turned around to get away before its all the way off the tree, then waddles away as fast as she can. Lets just say the bottom half of the tree is no longer decorated and it might just stay that way.

Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving weekend was so much fun this year. We had it at my Moms house this year and because its "the off year", Ammon and Lisa and Ryan and Angie were the only ones besides us that were there. It was so fun just visiting and letting the kids play with the cousins that they don't get to see very often. Thursday after lunch all the men went shooting and so on Friday all the girls went up to St. George for the Santa's workshop and breakfast. We all had such a great time. It was so fun to see everyone..... I love the holidays!!

Papa's Tractor

For the longest time Kaden has been scared of "Papa's Tractor". He doesn't like loud noises, he is even scared of the vacuum and so every time he would even hear it he would hide. The other day however was a different story. Arden asked him if he wanted to go for a ride and he shocked us all when he said yes. Now Papa can't leave the house without Kaden wanting to go on "Papa's Tractor" too.

This year we went to Bunkerville for the trunk or treat. Kaden went as a cowboy and Maddie as a bee. I was not sure how Kaden was going to do with all the costumes because he doesn't like scary things. It didn't seem to bother him at all in fact by the time we got done he wanted to visit all the cars again. Maddie just sat in the wagon and chewed on candy wrappers. It was so fun to dress the kids up.

I can not believe how fast the time is going by. Maddie turned 9 months old yesterday. She is getting so big! She is starting to stand on her own for a couple of seconds. She is not into learning how to walk just yet which I am totally okay with, She gets around just fine.... she can crawl almost faster than I can walk. She is starting to get into everything, she empties the book shelf in nothing flat and just discovered how to open the kitchen drawers. Maddie is still a big time Momma's girl. She is always giggling and has a smile for everyone but especially her big brother. Kaden loves to pester her all the time. He does help keep an eye on her though, I know she has gotten in to something when I hear him say "WAAAAAADDIE". Maddie is such a good girl we love her lots!!!!!

Crazy Kid

Ever since Kaden became Mobile he seriously climbs up on everything. He is such a little dare devil. He drives his four wheeler into the wall and uses it as a step. The wall is 5 1/2 feet tall and he loves to walk around it. Yikes!!

Maddie of coarse thinks he is way cool too! I put her hair in piggys for the first time... not sure I like it!?

Josh and Bailey's Wedding

I am finally posting pictures from the wedding. Somehow my camera got left home so we didnt get any pictures. Luckily Stetsy got a few of us. All in all it was a great weekend. If anyone has ever been to the ranch with kids it is almost a given that you with have to keep a close eye on them so they don't get in the ditch. Well, the other day Molly and I were visiting with Mom while the kids were having a good time playing in the front yard. Pretty soon Alice comes to the front door completely drenched. We ask her where Kaden is and she says "water". So I run out to the ditch yelling for Kaden and pretty soon I hear "Me swim Mom...Yeah!! I did it!!!" After seeing that he was okay I couldn't help but laugh however it really did scare me. We decided to since they were already wet we would let them swim for awhile and both of them loved it.

Big Girl

My little girl is getting so big!! She started crawling a couple of weeks ago and she already is pulling herself up on the furniture. She really thinks that she is as big as her brother and loves play with him. Kaden however, has not quite caught on. She has 2 teeth on bottom and is getting 3 teeth on the top all at the same time, poor thing. We can't wait until that's over so she can get back to being her happy self.

Hawaii #1

For Richards parents 30th wedding anniversary they invited all of the married couples to go to Hawaii. So for the last week we have been living it up on the beautiful island of Kauai. We left Kaden and Maddie with Grandma and Grandpa Bundy and are SOOOO grateful for them taking such good care while we were gone. I was really nervous to leave both of them but especially Maddie. After everything is over I am so glad that we did. We stayed at the Marriott hotel which was right on Piopu beach. The hotel was really nice. It was an awesome vacation but as always we are glad to be home.

The first couple of days in Kauai it rained and was cloudy so we kind of just drove around looking at the scenery the island is so pretty!

We went to some falls that had a rope swing. Because of the rain that they had had the water was way crazy. The locals said that we should not go but of coarse the boys wanted to anyway.

We decided to rent some boogie boards one day. We went to secret beach were it wasn't very crowded and the beach was awesome. The waves however were not cooperating. All of us took pretty good beatings that day!

On the last night there we decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner. We went a little restaurant called Keokis. It was so fun to get all dressed up and go out.

I have been meaning to post this for a week now but my computer has been being dumb so here it is better late than never right. Maddie is 6 months old now. I seriously don't know were the time goes. She is starting to eat solid foods, she likes real food tons better than baby food. She is also starting to sit up by herself and instead of trying to crawl she rolls everywhere. She is a happy baby especially when she has her Mom. Now if we could just get her to sleep better we would have it made. Maddie is so fun....we love our sweet baby girl!

4th of July Weekend

We went to the Bundy Reunion for the 4th of July weekend and like always it was a blast. The weather was perfect, it rained just enough to keep the dust down and the air cool. Kaden was in heaven playing in the dirt and Maddie loved being in the outdoors. It was so fun to see everyone we had a great weekend.

Lets just say that my life has been a big bore over the last couple of weeks. Not that I am complaining about the weather or anything but it seems like everyday it is cool, cloudy and the wind is blowing majorly. Last summer Kaden and I lived in the kiddie pool and this year we haven't even been able to. So I guess this is my big excuse for not posting lately. Oh well pretty soon I will be saying it is way to hot and I want winter to come.

On another note last Sunday after getting the kids ready for church I couldn't resist taking pictures. It was one of those Mom moments ( which I think all moms have) where you Know you have the absolute cutest kids ever. It's a good thing we have those days to make up for the ones were you wish you could get rid of them.

Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day weekend was lots of fun. Dave, Melanie and Jackson came down to visit. We spent the weekend swimming, 4- wheeling and really just having a great time visiting with each other. It was so good to see Melanie and Dave and let the little cousins get to know each other better. Thanks Dad and Mom Schaefermeyer for such a fun weekend.

Broken Camera...No bottles

A couple of weeks ago my camera decided it wasn't going to work anymore. And of course there have been lots of blog worthy things happening but no camera. I sent it in to get fixed so hopefully it wont be to long before I get it back so that I can update. On a better note.... Kaden does not have a bottle anymore. I know your probably thinking its about time but with Maddie being born I thought it would be best to wait until he was used to not being the baby anymore and, I honestly didnt want to fight him over it. It has been over a week and lets just say I was way suprised at so easy it was. I took him to the store and let him pick out a sippy cup and then we threw all the bottles away. He hasnt even really cared. It does kind of make me sad that my little boy isnt a baby anymore.

Yesterday Maddie turned three months old. She is so adorable... she is already starting to "talk" like crazy it is so cute. The other day I laid her on her tummy on the floor then left the room for a minute and when I came back she had rolled all the way over. I couldn't believe it she is only 3 months old. They seriously grow up way to fast. Everyday I thank Heavenly Father for sending her to us. She brings so much joy to our family.

Easter Weekend in Vernal

This weekend we took the dreaded 7 hour drive up to Vernal to visit Richard's Grandma for Easter. Richards entire family was there minus Wesley ( on a mission). We went on a picnic to Dry Fork, had too many easter egg hunts, went four wheelin', and just had a good time visiting with everyone. Besides the FREEZING cold weather we had so much fun. Kaden got spoiled rotten by all the easter egg hunts. He loved playing in the snow and with his cousin Jackson, and riding in Uncle Christophers rock crawler. It was so good to see everyone there. We had a blast.

I know the pictures are way late!! Two kids is really keeping me busy. Blessing weekend was really fun. Christopher and Keri came down to visit and show off Christopher's new rock crawln' truck so on Saterday we went to sheep troughs and played around. Kaden loved climbing on all the rocks and of coarse riding on the 4-wheelers. It was fun to get to see all the family that came for the blessing. We had a great time. PS... Any advice for a 2 month old baby who will not take naps during the day?!

He has totally taken advantage of the fact that I am busy with the baby and he ransacks my house. I feel like all I do is time outs all day long. So... to help me from going completely crazy I go visit my Mom a couple times a week and he loves it. There is always something to do at Grandmas!

At first Kaden was not interested in the whole baby thing. Now as you can see from the picture he is pretty excited. Whenever anyone comes over he wants to bring the baby to them to hold. On the other hand he has also taken advantage of the whole nursing thing... he knows that when I am nursing Maddie he has free reign of the house. He has learned how to climb on the counters. Yesterday he unrolled the entire roll of paper towels into the kitchen sink and turned on the water. The fun didnt stop there he went from room to room making messes. Thank heavens I love him so much or we would have a real problem ;)
